It’s great to surprise someone with an unexpected gift or act of service, but have you ever taken the time to ask a friend or family member what they might actually need or want? 

The writer of this psalm is doing just that with God! He wants to connect with God. But instead of just guessing or trying to figure it out for himself, he asks God to guide him—to show him what to do to connect. 

Have you ever thought to do the same thing? Today, take a minute and ask God to guide you in how you can better connect with Him this week.
