For a lot of us, prayer feels like a monologue—time spent with just one person talking. If we’re honest, it’s sometimes as if we pray with the assumption that we won’t actually get an answer back from God. 

However, today’s verse (and lots of similar verses like this one in the Bible) reminds us that God not only hears us, He answers us, too. 

Of course, getting an answer from God doesn’t mean we’ll literally hear God talking. God often answers our prayers through things like other verses in the Bible, the people around us, our circumstances, and so on. 

Today, pray about the things you need or are searching for answers to. Whatever you pray for, be on the lookout for answers from Him. You can trust with confidence that God will give you answers in His time.
