LIFE IS WORTH LIVING

Christians live to love God and love people. When we are loving God and loving people, our lives give God glory and follow Jesus' example. 

What does it look like to love God and love others? When God tells you to do something, do it. 

Obedience is a sign of love. If we know someone loves us, it's easier to trust them and do what they ask us to do. If that's true in our relationships with people whose love is not perfect, how much more should it be true in our relationship with God whose love is perfect? 

We can trust God completely. Jesus was obedient to God even to the point of death (Philippians 2:8). 

For a Christian, losing your life isn't the worst thing. Wasting it is. Don't waste your life trying to be good at things that don't matter. Live a life marked by decision after decision to trust God and do what He says. Then, you'll always have something to live for.

• Are you wasting your life on things that don't matter? Are you distracted by anything that might be hindering you from really fulfilling God's purpose for you? 


• God is at work in every part of our lives, even those that seem difficult. What's one hard thing you're facing right now? What's one way you're seeing God's love through this hard time? Ask Him to show where He's been at work if you're not sure.
