I Delight Not in the Blood of Goats and Bulls “To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.” Isaiah‬ ‭1:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬ God prefers a living sacrifice — He wants your heart. He wants a heart that’s submitted and surrendered to Him. Isaiah‬ ‭1:11‬ ‭declares, “To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me [unless they are the offering of the heart]? says the Lord. I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts [without obedience]; and I do not delight in the blood of bulls or of lambs or of he-goats [without righteousness].” Offer Christ your heart. Repent and turn to Him. Micah‬ ‭6:7-8‬ ‭‬‬ declares, “Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” Walk humbly with the Lord. Walk in His Ways. Walk after His commands. Choose to lay aside every weight. Put off the former things and run to Christ. “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,” Hebrews‬ ‭12:1‬ ‭‬‬. Surrender to Him and run with patience. Philippians‬ ‭3:14‬  declares, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Press toward the high calling. Continue to press towards God. Continue to press towards what He has called you to do. Let go of the past — God wants your heart. Get in right standing with Him and choose to trust Him.
