## Day 7 — Defector ### Pray: Lord God, quiet my soul and open my mind and heart to receive Your Word. Amen. ### Read: Acts 9:1-31 ### Reflect Saul, a Jewish leader, persecuted and killed Christians before his encounter with the resurrected Jesus on a Damascus road. This is the same man who would later travel extensively spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. He is also credited with writing a large part of the New Testament. What did God do to show Saul, later called Paul, that he was wrong to kill Christians? What were God’s plans for Saul? Do I know what plans God has for me? ### Respond Lord, I will carry Your banner and praise Your name. Create in me a Paul-like attitude and commitment to spreading Your Word. Amen.
