5-Day Harvest Fast Prayer PlanMfano

[IMAGE CONTENT] ## Fasting Day 5: Ask God to Glorify His Name in You Today, the fifth and last day of your harvest fast, you will be asking the Father to glorify His own name in you. ## Before we get to that, however, I want to challenge you to sow a seed of goodness for the poor on this last day of your fast. Isaiah 58:6-12 teaches us that it pleases and honors God for us to care for the poor, the naked, the discouraged, and the downtrodden while we fast. In fact, Isaiah 58:10 tells us that our breakthrough will burst forth for us when we do so! Pray along these lines today: * Thank the Lord for providing from His goodness for the poor (Psalm 68:10). * Ask Him to show you how you can sow a seed today into someone who is poor, afflicted, or discouraged. Then, stop and sow that seed to help somebody right while you're praying! * Thank our Heavenly Father for being such a good, good Father. * Thank Him for His love and tender care over your life. * Thank Him and praise Him for His tender mercies, which are new every day. * Thank Him for the new beginnings He is giving to you as a result of this fast. * Ask God to glorify His own name in your life. * Ask Him to use you to demonstrate His goodness to others. * Ask Him to make you a vessel of His honor, wealth, and goodness on the earth. * Ask Him to use that honor, wealth, and goodness that He manifests in your life as a witness for Christ. * Pray that He would use you to bring people to Himself. * Pray that the Lord of the harvest would also thrust out other laborers into His harvest field (Matthew 9:35-38)! * Ask Him to demonstrate His glory, splendor, and abundance in your life so that you can represent Him well as an ambassador of the King of Kings; an ambassador of your Father. * Thank Him for hearing and answering your prayers. * Ask Him to help you notice and thank Him for all of His answers to all of your prayers! Friend, while completing this harvest fast prayer plan, you have prayed some powerful prayers. And you know what? Our Heavenly Father heard those prayers and is working on your behalf even now. ## So what should you do? Simply this: Rejoice today! Believe that God has heard your prayers and that His answers will be revealed soon. Praise God for who He is; thank Him for what He has done; and give Him glory for the harvest He is sending you!
