Over the next few days, we will pray the Lord's Prayer and simple prayers for Gratitude, Forgiveness, Healing, and Provision. These prayers are scripture-based because God's word never returns void (Isaiah 55:11). They also end in Jesus' name because there is nothing mightier than the name above all names. Jesus gave us his very own prayer while he was here on earth. In Matthew 6:6, he tells us that prayer is a private thing, so we should go into our closet, shut the door, and speak directly to the Father.
