There are some pretty amazing things in this world. Yes, it’s easy to get caught up in a lot of the bad news that floods our lives, but if you pay close attention, there is so much good happening around us. People helping people in need, beauty in the natural world, and people working hard to bring peace and justice are all things that give us a chance to see how great God is. God isn’t just at work on the big stuff. The small things in your life can still be evidence of a great God doing great wonders. Don’t miss out on a chance to celebrate what God has done in you and around you. Maybe it’s something simple that brings you joy, the peace you experience when you’re walking outside, or the love you feel when hanging with your friends. When you walk with the Spirit, the Spirit will show you what the good life is all about. Today, take a few minutes to write down three ways you’ve experienced God working recently. Then come back to this list to remind yourself to look for God in great wonders and simple ways.
