Even leaders who have influence are still led by something or someone. As followers of Jesus, we follow the leading of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God’s presence living within you, leading you into the good life, the best life possible. Just like you listen, pay attention to, and follow leaders like parents, coaches, teachers, or pastors, you can also follow the leading of the Spirit so you can produce good fruit. Today, spend some time in prayer, asking God to help you become more aware of the Holy Spirit’s guidance in your life.
