I love God’s promise in today's scripture and there are many takeaways from this.
1. We see that God loves us so much that he wants us to focus on Him with all our heart.
2. We can always find rest, comfort/peace and purpose when we seek Him with all of our heart.
3. Seeking him requires talking, praying, and being alone with God.
Years ago, when I first started attending church, I committed my life to Christ. But I would show up 10 minutes before service, leave right after, read my Bible here and there, but that was it. I felt like I was still missing something. Once I started to seek Him and made a commitment to Him daily with my whole heart, that’s when God really opened up my eyes and provided me with purpose. The more I studied, the more God began to comfort my soul.
