Jesus is your Creator
“All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made.”
Jesus created all things. Delicate wildflowers, towering mountains, diverse wildlife, intricate humans, immense oceans, burning stars, and staggering galaxies. All things.
Was Jesus just a great teacher? Was Jesus just a religious philosopher? Is Jesus just one of the ways to God? Hardly! Jesus is none other than God, God Incarnate, and God the Creator.
To think that this infinite and eternal Creator became a mere man, a wrinkled baby, buckles the knees. What staggering humility.
What are the implications for us that Jesus is our Creator? At least these four things:
1. Worship. We must worship a God so great.
2. Trust. A God so powerful can intervene in my life and take care of me.
3. Obedience. Since he created me, I am his and not my own.
4. Gratitude. To think that my Creator died to save me is amazing. Amazing grace.
