Visual Journaling Your Goals With Scripture

DAY 5 OF 7

Welcome back to day five of our 7-day experience, and it is all about your art business and/or ministry goals.

This may be a brand new concept for you, thinking that God wants to use your creative expression in the marketplace or in ministry, but it's true! In fact, I believe most artistic gifts can bless the church, but they're not to be only for the church. They are for the marketplace!

God's divine design on your life to be an artist starts as a beautiful gift that you can enjoy personally, but for many, that gift will continue to grow, blessing your family, your church, your community and, yes, even nations.

Creativity is not just an extra little thing that God decided to throw into the mix of His Kingdom. Rather, it's how the Kingdom of God works. At its core, the nature of the Kingdom is to see and agree with heaven and then be used as ambassadors of transformation in the earth.

For the artist, we also find that our provision for our daily needs—money, relationships and resources—are all provided in line with our assignment as artists in the Kingdom. If you're struggling with money, it may be that you're looking to the wrong  source—your own strength vs God's supernatural provision based on your design.

God's promise is to provide for you because you're His son or daughter, to prosper you and to give you the ability to make wealth, wealth without sorrow. This is not my opinion, this is God's Word. Check it out:

· God wants to prosper you: Jeremiah 29:11

· God promises to provide for you: Matthew 6:33

· God will give you the ability to make wealth: Deuteronomy 8:18

· God brings wealth without sorrow: Proverbs 10:22

· God has already given you all you need to thrive: 2 Peter 1:3-4

Take time to meditate on the scripture for today and then ask the Lord to show you His heart for your art business or ministry.

Use your sketchpad, notebook or journal taking time to doodle around and over what you’ve written with paint, markers or colored pencils. Celebrate with color! Enhance key words that stand out to you as anchors by prayerfully going back and circling the ones that resonate most with you.

When you're finished, share your journal with a friend or on social media.
