Visual Journaling Your Goals With Scripture

DAY 1 OF 7

Welcome to this 7-Day experience of visually journaling your goals! Today's the first day and all about understanding why vision for your life is important in God's Kingdom!

Most people go through life with no direction. In fact, many people are used to repressing their dreams and feelings because they judge them before they ever share them with others, or God.

My friend, everything in your life starts with vision. Remember, the Bible says in Proverbs 29:18, “Without a vision the people perish”. That literally means without prophetic revelation—or a supernatural download from heaven—the people will cast off restraint, or essentially just run around willy-nilly with no direction.

You have to embrace that vision and keep it before you. Remember, God's Word says in Habakkuk 2:2, “Write the vision down and make it plain so the runner can run with it!”

Visualizing your goals and then writing them down actually sets the intention of your heart to align with God’s plan and your dreams. That intersection is your sweet spot in the Kingdom.

As you start moving towards the dreams God has placed in your heart, He’ll start moving toward you with all the resources, relationships and opportunities you need to achieve them.

Take time to meditate on the scripture for today and then ask the Lord to show you the importance of aligning with His vision for your life and creativity. Do so in a sketchpad, notebook or journal and take time to doodle around and over what you’ve written with paint, markers or colored pencils. Celebrate with color! Enhance keywords that stand out to you as anchors by prayerfully going back and circling the ones that resonate most with you.
