You Are Sovereign Over Us

The sovereignty of God is something fascinating to think about. What’s even more fascinating to think about is that the Creator of heaven and earth is looking out for our every step. Even more, He is concerned with even the smallest details of our lives.

The apostle Paul eloquently reminds us of whom we serve. The Creator of the Universe. The Alpha and Omega. The all-powerful God of the universe loves you and has a plan for your life. Think about that. He’s not just concerned about the large things but also the small things. While God gives us power to choose, it doesn’t mean that He’s not looking out for us. You may think He doesn’t care where you work or live, or what school you put your kids in, but He does.

When we put God first in our hearts, He reigns in sovereignty over our life. The hard part is letting go of the control and giving it to Him. When we do He promises to lead, protect and guide us. We can trust Him, for He knows exactly what He’s doing. Trust in his faithfulness and have hope.
