Give God Your YesPrøve

We should live our lives in such a way that can only be explained by our relationship with Jesus. It is indispensable to make sure our family feels special, but the most important thing is to make sure they feel this way because of their relationship with Jesus. The world continues to be outrageous around us, but we must do all we can to create and maintain a Christ-centered home where everything is done for God’s glory. Scripture encourages us to have a home where even angels would feel welcome! I remember looking at my sons when they were small and thinking, Who are you? What is God’s plan for you? I am not as proud of what they do as of who they are. I love that they love the Lord and love their wives and children well. Jesus Christ must be our standard for all things—and most preciously, our greatest adviser for raising children. To keep Jesus as our standard and become like Him, we need to stay connected to Him.
