Have you ever been surprised by someone you never expected doing something really nice? Why was it so surprising? Lloyd is clearly a bit muddled by the fog, but he’s still included in the Resistance plans. Likewise, in the Bible Lot has some messed up priorities, but it’s his family that eventually leads to Jesus. Something to think about while you are reading today’s passage: What does Jesus’ own family tree tell us about God’s mercy? Does He need us to be perfect to use us somehow?
