Emotions, logic, or some blend of the two seem to lead most of the people on this planet as they search for their best path. But God’s people are different. Though we are all like sheep, we don’t have to wander, wondering if we’re doing the right thing. Unlike the lost, we follow a faithful and wise Shepherd, Jesus. And if we take the time, we can learn to hear His Voice so we can go where He is leading. So, what can we do when people approach us for direction or advice? While we may be tempted to offer our own opinion or gut reaction, we’d do much better to confer with our Creator. God promises that when we acknowledge Him with our wonderings about both the big and the small things, He will not just show us the Way of Wisdom—He’ll lead us in it.
