UNDERESTIMATED LOVE Have you ever been underestimated ? What I mean by that is: have you ever had anyone think less of you than what you know you can do? Maybe you play sports and people have picked you last for a team because of your size, even though you may be incredible at the game. Or maybe you have great ideas but people who are older than you don’t listen because you’re young. I’ve been there. It’s so frustrating to be underestimated ! In your spiritual life, have you ever underestimated God’s love for you? Have you ever thought less of Him than what He knows He can do? It’s so easy to look at our failures and the ways we disobey God, and to think that He must somehow love us less. Believe me, I know that it can feel that way a lot of the time, but the Bible is abundantly clear that this is simply not true. Feelings lie; God does not. God consistently reminds us that He loves us, and He will never ever stop loving us. Don’t underestimate God’s love for you, because that love caused Him to send His Son on the greatest rescue mission the world has ever known. God’s love for you goes deeper than you could ever truly know! Take a moment to think about the ways that God is showing you how greatly He loves you in your life right now .
