People Desire Connection

Si Tish ay isang young mom and isang expert in talking with people online about Jesus. She has led many people in the decision to follow Jesus and has prompted many others to take time to explore God more for themselves. Eto ang kaniyang kwento.

Nung nagsimula si Tish in chatting people online, she found it really confronting because she got to see the words she was choosing to use. Na-shock si Tish with how harsh she was, and na-realize niya na parang weird siya. Binalikan niya yung previous conversations and realized na yung mga sinasabi niya was just distracting yung taong kausap niya. To make things worse, na-notice din niya na she wasn't being a good listener - people were opening up and sharing their experiences pero imbis na i-acknowledge niya, may ibang goal in mind siya.

Naisip niya na kung mapa-agree niya yung person to say the salvation prayer nagawa na niya yung trabaho niya.

Dangerous and ineffective yung ganitong mentality. Nasiskip yung part kung saan God wants to form a personal relationship with the person. Na-realize ni Tish na she needed to keep it simple. Ang kailangan lang niyang gawin is to introduce people to Jesus.

Tish soon found she had improved and talking with people online wasn’t such a hard thing. Napaisip siya sa kanyang way of conversing: meron ba siyang pinagkaiba when chatting people face-to-face ? Natutunan ni Tish to listen more, to become less "preachy" and to be more relational. People aren't searching for religion; they are searching for a relationship.
