## Prayer 4: Bless All the Works of My Hands In Deuteronomy 28:1-8, God promises that He will bless all the works of your hands. He also lists many additional promises about how blessed you will be—and how everything you touch will bring you wealth—if you will earnestly obey Him every day. ## As you read today's key passage, remember that the Israelites lived within an agrarian, or agricultural, society. Therefore, when God said He would bless their cattle, herds, and the offspring of their flocks, He was talking about blessing their work, their businesses, their wealth, and their investments. ### The Lord will bless your work, business, wealth, and investments as well—if you will obey Him. Obeying the Lord is a daily walk, but it's not too hard! God will give you the grace to obey Him from moment to moment. If you have given your life to Jesus, then His Holy Spirit lives inside you—and He is helping you obey, right now! And as you obey, you will be blessed. But, just like everything else, you do need to pray as you obey. ## So pray this if you desire financial increase today: "Father God, in Jesus' name, I ask that You would help me to obey You in everything You've commanded me to do in Your Word. And as I obey You, please bless all the work of my hands: * Make me the head, and not the tail; above only, and not beneath. * Let everything I touch turn to gold. * Let my investments increase and be profitable, in Jesus' name. * Let my net worth and bank account balances increase. * Ensure that I am amply paid and rewarded for everything I do, no matter where I am. * Help me to get completely out of debt. Help me to lend to many nations, but never to borrow. Thank You, Father God. As I obey You, I praise You for keeping Your promises and blessing me financially. Thank You. In Jesus' name, amen."
