Yet, it was patience that Mary and Joseph displayed as they awaited the birth of the promised Messiah. Imagine the uncertainty they must have felt and the questions that raced through their minds. Still, they trusted in God's plan and waited with hopeful expectation. This season, we can also learn from their example. As we anticipate the celebration of Christ's birth, we can reflect on the patience required of us. Patience in our busy schedules, patience in our relationships, and patience in our faith.
