What’s In Your Heart? “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” Luke‬ ‭6:45‬ ‭KJV‬‬ What’s buried deep within the walls of your heart? What’s buried deep in the root system of your soul? What nutrients are embedded in the soil of your heart? What are you sowing into the ground of your family? Are you holding on to the dead things of the past? Are you growing bitter due to rejection, past trespasses and offenses committed against you? Choose to let the past go. Forgive and be set free.  Feed yourself the Word of God. Nourish your heart with His Word. Luke‬ ‭6:45‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ declares, “The upright (honorable, intrinsically good) man out of the good treasure [stored] in his heart produces what is upright (honorable and intrinsically good), and the evil man out of the evil storehouse brings forth that which is depraved (wicked and intrinsically evil); for out of the abundance (overflow) of the heart his mouth speaks.” What’s stored in your heart? What past offense(s) have you kept a catalog of within the borders of your heart? Choose to build a storehouse of God’s Word within the framework of your heart. Tear down anything that’s not like Him and embrace God’s Way of doing things. Luke‬ ‭6:45‬ ‭NLT‬‬ declares, “A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.” Your words spring from the soil of your heart. Choose to cultivate the ground of your heart with the Word of God and let God transform your heart forever. What’s in your heart’s treasury?
