## Hope in God! 💪 “Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance. O my God, my soul is cast down within me; therefore I will remember You from the land of the Jordan, and from the heights of Hermon, from the Hill Mizar.” (see Psalm 42:5-6) Taking a quick look at your life today, what are you placing your hope in? Whom or what do you rely on to respond to your needs? * Yourself? * Your spouse? * Your bank account? * Your boss? I don’t know your situation, but I am certain of one thing: every time, it’s better to hope in God. He knows how to recompense and reward those who rely on Him. Here’s what the Bible tells us: “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6) He can provide for all our needs. Absolutely all. His heavenly account has an unlimited supply. Today, you can hope in Him more than in anything or anyone else. Yes, count on the One whose resources are...uncountable! The Bible also says, “It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in princes.” (Psalm 118:9) Why hope in God? Because ““God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”” (Numbers 23:19) Your God does not lie and does not repent either from His Word or from His promises for your life. What He has said, He will certainly do...you can be sure of it. I encourage you to not doubt but to enter fully into what He wants for you by hoping and believing in Him!
