Courageous Humility Pt. 1Sample

Courageous Humility Pt. 1

DAY 24 OF 30

Seems like a plot twist doesn’t it? Perhaps like you, I thought this section would be devoted to Scripture focused on healing us – be it in spirit, mind, emotion, or body. This morning, I can see the healing God emphatically desires is relational healing in His Body. The carefully chosen collection of believers He calls His Bride. He desires we courageously seek His healing, in order to wholly be made well and reflect His glory in the earth. Why? For the lost to see! See and know Him!

In all other relationships, whether it is with friends, co-workers, ministry partners, or with others in the community, is there room for healing and restoration? Have there been moments where slander of our neighbor in defense of our selves or loved ones, replaced uplifting words or prayers for the offender, an offender who may have very well been a sister or brother in Christ? Will we have the courage to conjure the desire to allow God to search us and be real with us, and allow Him to point to areas where slander, conceit, and pride reigned, rather than His love through us?

Prayer: Lord, we do not deny You desire to bring healing to our bodies, mind, hearts, and souls. And we thank You for Your willingness to do so! Thank You for sharing Your heart with us, helping us to see You would love to bring healing in our relationships, in this season, in order to bring healing in YOUR Body. Help us to love one another in the way You have called us to. This is the PROOF we are Your disciples and Bride in the earth. We can demonstrate love towards others regardless of our physical ailments or even up to the moment we take our last breath. We can extend love to others despite our minds and emotions not being 100% aligned with You, just yet. We pray for courage to focus on Your heart and the healing of Your body through our relationships and the way we love one another. Holy Spirit, empower us to courageously step towards healing and receive Your touch in our lives and relationships, believing others will see, be amazed, and place their trust in You for their own healing. In Jesus Christ’s Name we pray, amen!
