Jesus went to great lengths so that we can have direct access to God. Can you imagine what it was like the day Jesus died for our sins? The curtain of the temple that hung in the Most Holy Place, which had previously been used to separate God from sinful people, no longer had a purpose because Jesus hung on the cross. The curtain was torn from top to bottom giving us direct access to God! No longer do you need someone to approach God for you, you have complete access to Him because of what Christ did on the cross!
