Favor. One of the best gifts that God can give to mankind is favor. Favor can mean many things, like support, approval or liking of something or someone, but a better definition of favor will be kindness that is beyond standard. So, if God has favor for us, it means He will give us an overgenerous treatment. Think about it. God Himself is already a super, incredibly generous God and yet when we found favor in Him, He will treat us in a more overgenerous way. Is that even possible? Well, it happened to Noah. God was heartbroken because the world He created had gone wicked and He decided to wipe out the entire earth with flood. But Noah found favor with the Lord, so God told Noah to build an ark and his family and him were spared. How can we find favor with God? It is by walking in close fellowship with God. We can do this by putting God as the center of our lives. Make it a habit to pray in the morning, right after we wake up, praise Him and give thanks all the time, read the Bible and obey His commands. Surely if we stay close to God, He will shower His favor upon us.
