Understanding the Subject of Faith

DAY 10 OF 30

HOW TO BUILD A GOOD FAITH LIFE

For the next few days, we will be considering six (6) steps that you can work on, to build a good faith life. Whether God releases a word, or you come across a promise in the Bible, these steps will work. When you work the steps correctly, you will get the promised outcome.

STEP 1: You must have the promise of God on the situation or circumstance

In faith, you should hold on to a promise or prophecy from the Bible or the Holy Spirit. You cannot have a productive faith life without understanding the ministries of the Bible, and the Holy Spirit. A good rule to operate in spiritual matters is to seek God first from the Bible, and also from prayer. In other words, build a strong understanding of the Bible and take that to the Holy Spirit.

So, when standing in faith, ask yourself, ‘Do I have a promise or prophecy?’ Your promise or prophecy can come from the Bible or the Holy Spirit (via various channels). It is safer when your promise comes from the Bible. Still, if you have thoroughly developed your walk with the Holy Spirit, you may safely rely on the other channels He uses, to give you a promise or prophecy to walk your faith process.

Prayer: Lord, I receive grace to see, understand, and hold on to your promises and prophecies at every point in my faith journey, in Jesus' name. Amen!
