The Lord Is With You

The problem was I forgot to buy the fridge at Aldi on Wednesday and it was now Saturday. But… I was in luck, there was one left in the store. Praise God!

The problem was it weighed 33 kg… and it had to go up on the roof racks of my 4x4 Prado. Hmm, what to do? Aldi staff could not help, so I stepped out into the car park with confidence and hope and looking for Jesus to help – like right away Lord!

And there he was… a supermarket worker picking up litter in the car park. Could he help? ‘Yes’, he said. ‘I would be happy to and it is part of my job to help customers’. So, pulling and grunting and shoving we got it onto the top of the car, tied it down and I got it home.

How wonderful Jesus is to take an interest in my fridge problem. He was with me in Aldi and in the car park and He showed up to help just like He promised. His help was so beautiful and timely. I felt so loved and cared for by Him.

We can be confident and have real hope that Jesus is with us today. Stepping out and trusting in Jesus’ presence is the fast-track way to experience Him with us. So, choose something to practice today. Step out with confidence and hope in Jesus, keep looking to Him and you will see God in your day. In some way, somehow, at some time you will see His glory. Remember, the Lord is with you.
