YOUR BORN-AGAIN SPIRIT IS TO LEAD YOUR SOUL AND BODY

You must identify the leader in your life as an individual. Remember, you are tripartite: a spirit, a soul, and a body. Your spirit is the leader among the three components, also referred to as "the heart" or "the inner man" in the Bible. To follow the leader, ascertain what your spirit is conveying regarding any matter.

While many things may seem reasonable to your mind, "reasonable" pertains to the mind's domain, communicating through reasoning. Your body communicates through feelings, occasionally intertwined with emotions — expressed as preferences like 'I don't like this' or 'I like that.' Your mind also generates thoughts and imaginations.

Contrastingly, your spirit, the leader, communicates uniquely. To discern God's presence, understand His actions, or find safety by following the leader—your spirit. Often, your body may incline towards actions contrary to your spirit. Recognizing the leader among your spirit, soul, and body is essential.

You can persuade your spirit to remain calm. The conscience represents the voice of the spirit. While most people refrain from violating their conscience, many tend to adjust it to a different standard. Although you recognize what is right through your conscience, the inclination to align actions with personal desires often leads to trouble. As a Christian, avoiding such deviations is crucial for aligning with the ever-increasing glory.

PRAYER: Lord, I pray for heightened sensitivity and the grace of discernment to always know what is right per time. I bring my body and soul under the leadership of my spirit in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
