Not Lent but Given: The Here I AMSample

“Savior Unseen” Thousands of years ago, a magnificently common, tadpole-shaped being filled the inner, unseen darkness of a frightened girl. Implanted deep inside her less-than-likely space, a living host named Jesus brought life into a land which lent no room. Yet well before the moment, God perfectly formed this girl’s body to embody His own. Mary was born in the image of the child she was to bear. And for as hidden as was Mary’s shape then, more unfathomed was our Savior’s. When Mary first heard word of Him, her song of thanksgiving proved God’s order. “Treasuring up” emptied Mary out, and at once Christ had room to come down. Only while Mary’s blood vessels coursed with living revelation, the world searched its riches to reveal Him. It was lost, until she bled.
