A Supernaturally Natural Life

DAY 8 OF 14

RAISED FROM THE DEAD I always hunger to see the supernatural power of God invade the natural. Growing up in India, we witnessed that on a regular basis, especially in church. We have seen and we continue to witness God moving with signs and wonders. But one miracle that I desperately wanted to see was the dead being raised. At one of our Friday prayer meetings, through the Holy Spirit, I gave a Word from John 11:4 saying “this sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it”. Little did I know that a father would stand up in total disappointment because his 12 year old daughter had just died and he had come to church to receive comfort and prayer! But little did he know that Jehovah Raphe was going to show up in all His glory and power. We started to pray, calling those dead things back to life in Jesus’ name. Just before the service could finish, his phone started to ring. Rushing out, he answered the call. His wife was on the other side, loudly screaming and telling him to come back to the hospital! Life had flowed into his daughter, who had been declared dead, and she had suddenly started to breathe. HALLELUJAH!! Truly the name of Jesus was glorified. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is moving and flowing through His children- that includes you. Remember life and death are in the power of the tongue- speak life. His power is always working for them that believe, and you are a BELIEVER in Jesus Christ. IT’S YOURS! Amen! Application: What “dead” situation are you facing today, dearly beloved? It’s time for you to boldly declare that it is not going to end in death. The Son of God is going to get the glory from the miracle He is going to perform for you, your family, and over whatever you put your hands too. Quote: “The only limit to the power of Almighty God lies within you and me”- Kathryn Kuhlman POWER in the Greek (STRONGS LEXICON G1411): DYNAMIS which means “power for performing miracles” “inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature, or which a person or thing exerts and puts forth”.
