How do we love? What does it look like? What kind of love is Jesus talking about? Model it after him. It doesn’t matter what we feel nearly as much as what we do. Jesus-style love is about sacrificing yourself for the sake of someone else. Will you treat someone lovingly even if you don’t like them? Will you risk your own comfort and possessions to help someone else? We can talk about love all day long. Jesus wants us to put our money where our mouth is.
