Transformational Freedom Devotional

DAY 2 OF 3

Day Two

Positive Focus Leads to Freedom

Keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always. Philippians 4:8 (TPT)

God sees every intricate detail on the canvas of your life. Nothing in your life goes without notice. During losses, disappointments, and heartaches, the Holy Spirit is present to strengthen you today. God knows your great days and challenging days. The prescription is to praise Him always. Philippians 4:8 lays out a winning weapon to overcome challenges with a better focus.

There is action on your part needed to experience the promises in scripture. Continually think in an uplifting manner. Regularly focus your mind on the truth. Daily remember the glorious works of God in the breath you have to read this devotional. Maintaining a thankful attitude keeps your heart soft. Do you ever feel difficulty practicing consistency in your faith? Start committing to 10 minutes each day to prayer and reading scripture.

Prayer

Father, I recognize areas of wrong focus. I trust you as my source of all that is good for me. I choose to rest in your love for me. I believe your promise of peace, provision, healing, and joy is mine, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
