Jesus Reveals God - “If you know me, you will know my Father as well” Jesus, unlike any other prophet or teacher, clearly points to Himself as being God. He says, “I am the way, truth, and the life…” and, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.” This is one of the reasons Jesus was not just another prophet and in His life and resurrection we see His divinity. In the previous portion we read that we have a place we belong, but to get there we need to believe that Jesus is in fact our savior and God, this is salvation. Why Jesus? Apart from the hundreds of prophesies he fulfills in the Bible of who the Messiah will be, doing miraculous works, and raising from the dead, Jesus brings to light the true nature of God the Father in His character. “If you know me, you will know my Father as well.” Jesus is the clearest revelation of God to humanity. Believe in Him, get to know Him more, see for yourself that Jesus is Lord.
