Christian Growth – Growing in the Grace of the Lord

Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

(Matt. 5:48)

Reflect upon this verse. Is there a deep yearn­ing to grow more like Christ? Do you yearn for transformation to grow into his likeness? Is your aim for a purified heart?

My child, only I know exactly the blue­print I ordained for you from birth. It is for you to seek me and that perfect design and to follow beside me. As you follow me closely, you will keep on the narrow road and not fall away. Satan would have you slip, and be unable to carry out your work, thus delaying your Christian growth. So be diligent, and do not compare yourself with others. You are unique, and the ministry I ordained for you is also unique.

The secret is to continually seek after Jesus, by this road endeavor to build a genuine friendship. To obtain success it’s imperative to keep on the narrow road and follow the plan, the roadmap Jesus has ordained individually for all who walk on this planet. Jesus does not always promise a rosy path, the path may be long and dreary but the destination is glorious.

Sometimes when my children feel at their lowest is when most work is done for me. You are one of my chosen ones, chosen for a special work. Through prayer, fasting, witnessing and min­istering my people have a special work to do for me because I am in them guiding them. I want you to be led moment by moment by the Spirit. At other times I require you merely to sit at my feet and learn of me as did Mary of old; it’s only in this way you can grow and bring other people into a deeper walk with me. So, press on, my child; each time of suf­fering or testing you endure brings you closer to me, and this is the training ground for this special work. Always remember that to share in my glory you must share in my sufferings. I love you so much and someday we will spend eternity together, never more to be parted. There will be no more suffering there, my child.

Seek the new life of Jesus that bubbles up within, that abundant life, that life that gives peace and joy to hold forever, the most exhilarating and at the same time most peaceful experience one can obtain, the joy that no man can take away.

We pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord . . . growing in the knowledge of God. (Col. 1:10)
