Through the Bible: Habakkuk

DAY 1 OF 3

The Lord's Answer

Look among the nations, and see; wonder and be astounded. For I am doing a work in your days that you would not believe if told.
Habakkuk 1:5(ESV)

During the past two years we are living in a new world due to Covid-19. We entered a season of uncertainty combined with facing many challenges with family, at our work place or at church. The world around us is changing. We are praying for the pandemic to end, for people to be safe and healthy. But it feels like nothing is happening as waves of the pandemic continue to hit us.

However, God is at work. He wants us to keep faith and hope in Him, even more so in these circumstances. The days in which we live seem to reflect much of the evil of Habakkuk's time. Yet, words from Habakkuk remind us that greater and better things are coming, beyond our imagination. Only our God can create and make these things happen.

In this season, let our hearts and souls focus on God and have faith in Him because He is the Greatest. He cares and has a perfect plan for us. God is working in our lives and in our world, in ways that are often beyond our understanding. But rest assured, we are safe in Him.

Prayer

Lord, thanks for working in our life in this season. Faithfully, we pray to see the result of Your work in our lives and the change for better and greater. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
