Strong Start - a Devotion on Strength

DAY 14 OF 14

Strength for Success

The best opener for today's entry is a question we should pause and ask ourselves:

Why attempt to achieve success on my own when I can partner with God to do it?

This is a question that is worth asking; a question that provides a solid framework for how we should approach success.

As followers of Christ, we have an advantage that many others don't have. That advantage is the ability to partner with God to achieve success. Do you know what this really means? It means that you don't have to be powered by self. It means that you have the upper hand of being powered by a supernatural force that is guiding you in the way that you should go. It means that you don't have to drain yourself, or your resources and finances, unnecessarily because as long as you are partnering with God, He won't just supply you with the power to be successful, but also the wisdom to make moves that make sense.

Success can seem out of reach when you aren't going about it the right way. Alignment matters. The best way to approach success is by being in direct alignment (partnership) with God. Nothing less, nothing more.

Here's a checklist to help you maintain proper alignment:

  • Keep God as your power source.
  • Consult God before you make a move.
  • Remember that success is sustainable when it's done with God.
  • You can pursue success on your own, but the results won't be the same as doing it with God.

Father, thank You for the privilege of partnering with You. My wealth, my favor, my blessings will find their way to me because they are coming through my alignment with You.
