"Obey God Above All Else"

There are many different people in authority over you. People like your mom, dad, pastors, teachers, and coaches. As long as these people are making the right choices, the Bible says that you should listen to them and obey them. But if someone asks you to do something that God would not want you to do, you shouldn’t do it. You should obey God and do what He says, no matter what.

Make an effort to obey God in everything you say and do this week, even when obeying Him is not the easiest thing to do. If you do, God will guide you and lead you where He wants you to go. Remember: Doing what God says and obeying Him is always the right thing to do.
