Walking With Jesus (Wisdom)

DAY 5 OF 7

Difficult time

There are many strange things we can find and experience in the world today. It is difficult to live clean and honest. We live in a completely reversed era. The right thing is blamed and the wrong thing is justified. Sin is no longer considered a sin but something that is tolerated. Wickedness is esteemed as a virtue. The people's representatives do not defend those they represent anymore. They oppress the people instead. We are often frustrated with this situation. These are difficult times for us, but the troubles will continue to grow.

Whatever our current conditions are right now, it is clear that God calls us to live clean. Our life is a testimony. Amid the darkness of this world, the light of our life is indispensable. Amid the world's rapidly decaying world, the salt of our world should be useful. God calls us to live righteously, not so that this world will be better and more comfortable for us to live in, but because that is how the children of light should live. This is our nature as the children of God.

We will face many challenges and opposition because the world's values are different from ours. Our life has become difficult. However, that doesn't mean we should give up. Life is hard, but that doesn't mean we have to accept the situation or go with the flow. Yes, life is a struggle but striving to be what God wants us to be is our high calling!

Reflection:

1. Are you aware of your high calling and living up to it?

2. How can we keep our lives clean?

Application:

Live clean anytime and anywhere!

About this Plan

Walking With Jesus (Wisdom)

Having wisdom is everyone's goal. Wisdom is not just talking about intelligence or having above-average knowledge. Wisdom is "God's mindset" that can be understood by us. It can also help us consider and decide our steps...
