Has anyone ever asked you, "Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?" Some days, and even weeks, can be a challenge. Maybe there are times when you are in a good mood one day, and a bad mood the next — super outgoing one day, wanting to be alone the next. Sometimes we can feel like we are being tossed around in the wild ocean of our emotions. So what does Jesus have to do with anything when our lives and emotions feel out of control?
The cool thing about Jesus is that he isn't just a guy who lived a long time ago. He can change our lives right now — today. The verses we are reading today give us a unique perspective about who Jesus is and also give us some ideas of what our response to him should be. Because knowing stuff about Jesus is one thing, but letting him change our lives is another thing entirely.
What could it look like for you to rely on Jesus, who never changes?
