Have you ever felt distant from God? The problem with trusting our feelings is that feelings can lie to us. The truth is in this verse. God is close to us. It doesn’t matter how you feel; it is a fact that he is with you. We have to learn not to rely on our feelings but trust that God is close because his word tells us this fact. When have you been guilty of believing your feelings over believing what the Bible tells us about God’s closeness? How can you stop relying on your feelings and call out to him?
Challenge: Today, we challenge you to call out to God and talk to him even when you feel like he’s far away. Remember, God is close to us, and he is waiting for us to talk to him. The other amazing thing is that you can call on God anytime and anywhere. Start talking to him now.
