Hold Me Close

When I was 17 years old I found myself in a hard time in my life where I didn’t believe in God! My faith was shaken! 

Even though Jesus says I will never leave you nor forsake you, sometimes we feel as though he’s far away. Don’t allow what has happened to you keep you from living out God's purpose for your life. Trust God! 

Proverbs 3 says trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not to your own understanding. Regardless of where you are in your faith, whether you have your Ph.D. in theology or you just received salvation, we’ve all needed God to hold us close. If God hung the moon, sun, and stars in the sky what makes you think he isn’t as close as the very air that you breathe?

Be encouraged, my brother and sisters in Christ. The hand of God has been holding you together the entire time, even if you didn’t recognize it. It’s okay to feel far from God, but even better to know that God is close to you. If you’ve been drifting it's okay! We’ve all been there! Repent, ask for his forgiveness and be renewed in your faith today as you walk out God's plan and purpose for your life.

You know where I am in my life and I trust you every step of the way
