CERTAINTY
Many things in life we cannot state with absolute confidence. We are not really sure whether it will actually happen unless we see it happen. Often, when it does happen once, there is no guarantee it will happen again.
But there is ONE THING we can be absolutely sure of.
Always.
At all times.
When I call to God for anything, God will definitely answer.
Psalm 4:3: “You can be sure of this: The Lord set apart the godly for himself. The Lord will answer when I call to him.”
His answers may not satisfy at all times. Neither does the timing of his reply be at a time when we want it. Our prayer is based on this one absolute certainty: God has set me apart to be with Him.
If I choose to be godly I need to walk close to Him regardless of the methods and manners of God’s replies to my prayer because I am with Jesus and treasure a relationship with Him.
God’s answers to our prayers are not our ultimate blessing. Being with God in a relationship is our ultimate longing and commitment.
