We thank our parents for working hard and taking care of us. We thank our teachers for teaching and guiding us. We thank our brother or sister for filling our days with fun and laughter. We thank our friends for being with us in good and bad. When we thank someone, we acknowledge and appreciate what they have done for us.
This Psalm is a psalm of thanksgiving as it encourages us to clothe ourselves with thankfulness and thanksgiving when coming to Church and whenever we come to Him in prayer and worship.
Do not hesitate to shout joyfully to God for who He is. Start counting your blessings, not your problems. Enter His presence with praises. May we always and forever make a joyful noise to the Lord and enter His presence with grateful lips and heart!
Prayer
Dear God, I give thanks to You with a grateful heart. Let my mouth and lips give joyful noises for You are my God. I sing praises to Your holy name. Amen.
