Where is your focus? As a baseball player, you had to be laser focused on what was going on in the game. When you were hitting, you had to be focused on everything the pitcher was doing, because if you weren't focused, you wouldn't be ready to hit the ball. 

The same is true for life. If you aren’t focused on what’s important, then you will become distracted.  Jesus reminds us that our focus should be on His kingdom and not our own. I think so often we get so focused on trying to do our own thing in this world and build up treasures here, that we forget what’s actually going on around us. He goes on to say that our treasure should be stored in heaven where the thief cannot steal it.
