Today’s Reading: Hebrews 6:13–20
Faith Confession
You, O Lord, made a promise to Abraham, and you swore by yourself, saying, “Surely I will bless you and multiply you.” You guaranteed the unchanging character of your purpose to me with an oath. You have sworn and will not change your mind. It is impossible for my God to lie. Therefore, I have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before me. It’s a sure and steadfast anchor of my soul, a hope that enters into the inner place before the curtain, where you have gone as a forerunner on my behalf. You are my high priest forever and the guarantor of a better covenant. You are able to save to the uttermost those who draw near, since you live to make intercession for us and have been made perfect forever (Hebrews 6:13–20, 7:21–28).
