The Shepherds Responded
Hearing good news requires a response. The Shepherds didn’t just sit in the field talking about how lovely the angels’ singing was, they went to see the baby Jesus.
- How have you responded to the Christmas message? The Bible says that responding to Jesus is important. He’s with you now, what do you want to say to him in response?
- There’s a Christmas Carol called, ‘O Little Town of Bethlehem’ and the last verse is a response to the Christmas story. Why don’t you read the words and make it your own prayer today:
- O holy Child of Bethlehem, Descend to us, we pray; Cast out our sins and enter in, Be born to us today. We hear the Christmas angels The great glad tidings tell: Oh, come to us, abide with us, Our Lord Emmanuel! Amen.
Brian and Dave have been looking forward to Christmas since the 1st December. You’ll find the films on the YouTube channel if you’d like to watch more.
