Walk Worthy

DAY 1 OF 3

Walk Worthy.

“I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called.” Ephesians‬ ‭4:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul declares in Ephesians‬ ‭4:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬, “To walk worthy.” Your journey is a marathon and not a sprint. Run your race at your pace. Choose to surrender to God, and let Him lead your course, for He is the One who Called you. Notice the words that Paul uses in Ephesians‬ ‭4:1‬ ‭KJV, “The prisoner of the Lord.” Paul declares that he chooses to serve the Lord. Paul declares that he submits to the Word of God. Paul was tied to Christ. Paul was tied to the Gospel. Paul’s walk was a journey and not a sprint. It’s your choice to be tied to the race that is set before you. Run your race.

Don’t look to the left or to the right. Choose to focus forward. Choose to run your race. Your race has purpose. Your race was designed for you. You were graced for your race. You were groomed for your race. You were created for your race. The gifts, talents, and abilities that God has invested in you, were given to you for your particular race. Choose to be focused, diligent, steadfast, and determined to complete the race that God has given you.

He designed the race that’s set before you. He saw the obstacles before you encountered them. He knows your strengths. He knows your weaknesses. He knows your beginning from your ending. God is the Author and Finisher of your faith. He is the Author and Finisher of your destiny. He is the Author and Finisher of your course. Choose to serve Him. Choose to surrender to Him. Walk worthy. Walk by faith. Walk in obedience. Choose to trust Him. He created your path and He’ll help you finish your course.
