One of the greatest things we can be thankful for is God’s promise of deliverance and protection. No matter what plot the devil might try, God has a counter-plan available to interrupt the works of darkness. The Bible reminds us to resist the devil and he will flee (see James 4:7). Scripture also says that through our faith and assurance we can quench every fiery arrow of the wicked one (see Eph. 6:16). Make a point to resist the devil through your declaration of faith that the enemy is powerless to inflict evil and tragedy upon your life. Rest in that today and know that you are delivered from the arrows of darkness!
