Why Travel Light?
But really, why not just keep living the way we’ve been living? Why should we let go of all these things and travel light?
Because we were set free to live free.
Because marriage is a life-long commitment.
Because many of our children will turn into someone’s parents.
Because the Creator of everything is our guide.
Because none of it is ours.
Because someone else is hurting and healing, too.
Because He first forgave us.
Because shame is a sham.
Because we have enough.
Because He’s enough.
Because it’s way more fun.
Because it’ll be easier to say yes to the next adventure God calls us on.
Because eternity is a long walk.
Because Jesus was born.
Because Jesus died for this.
Because Jesus was raised to life and asked us to go share His Good News with everyone!
